Definition
Enables you to specify whether you want to pay SI, pension, taxes or other components either in the home or host country, or in both, depending on local legislation and company policy.
Example
German employees sent abroad for a defined period of time still have to pay social insurance contributions in Germany. If you have implemented the Payroll for Global Employees component, the amounts are transferred from the sending payroll to the receiving payroll and then deducted from the employee's remuneration.
Per default, the SAP system is shipped with an empty table you can use to store any applicable component within your company. For more information, see the relevant customizing step (Management of Global Employees > Assignment Activation Data > Define Category Types).
