Documentation
Definition
Enables you to specify the checklist item currently being processed. Per default, the SAP system is shipped with the most common checklist items, as described below:
- Passport
- Residence Permit
- Real Estate Agents
- Visa Application
- Work Permit
However, if you need additional items for the assignee(s) you are processing, you can create new ones in the relevant customizing step (Management of Global Employees > Assignment Preparation > Checklist Items and Documents > Define Checklist Items and Documents). For example, if the global assignment requires extensive travelling in a remote host country, you may include an International Driving License item.
Depending on the checklist item you have selected, the indicator To Be Completed Before Assignment is set to remind the processor that he/she has to finish processing the item before activating or ending the assignment. This is particularly relevant for visas and work permits and can also be done in the above-mentioned customizing step.
