Definition

Use

The initial run serves to determine the analysis period and has a maximum of 255 days.

When calculating the start date of the analysis period, the system uses the current date and adds the number of days for the initial run (without taking the factory calendar or public holidays into consideration). On the basis of this start date, the system calculates the end date of the analysis period by adding the duration of the analysis period (in days).

Audits are taken into consideration during the selection if their planned start date is within the limits of the analysis period. Corrective/preventive actions are taken into consideration during the selection if their planned end date (To Be Completed By) is within the limits of the analysis period.

Dependencies

Example

Analysis period with no lead time

If you enter the value 0 in this field, then the analysis period begins on the current date. The end of the analysis period is calculated on the basis of the current date plus the duration of the analysis period.

Analysis period with an lead time of 5 days

If you enter the value 5 in this field, the start date for the analysis period is in 5 days (calculated by adding 5 days to the current date). The end of the analysis period is then calculated on the basis of this start date plus the duration of the analysis period.
