Definition
This indicator controls the document link per object type (for example, question list, audit, FMEA).
Use
If the indicator is set, all new document links are created via the Knowledge Provider (KPro). Otherwise, Business Document Services (BDS) is used as the document management system.
Dependencies
Independent of the current indicator setting, all existing document links are displayed in the application. That is, if KPro is used, links to BDS documents are still displayed.
Lower hierarchy levels inherit the settings for the top-level object.
Example
If you set the indicator for the question list, you can create new documents and folders via KPro for the question list and all questions.
