Definition

The authorization group for audit management restricts the rights of users when they want to access data in audit management.

Use

Enter a key for the authorization group in this field.

Dependencies

You define authorization groups in Customizing:

  • If you enter an authorization group for audit components (audit plan, audit, question list, corrective/preventive actions), the system checks whether or not users have authorization to access these components.
  • If you do not enter an authorization group, the authorization group will not be checked during the authorization check. An authorization check will then only be executed with regard to the activity (for example, create, change) and the audit type. An authorization check will then only be executed with regard to the activity (for example, create, change) and the audit type.

To pass the authorization check, the user needs an authorization in which the relevant authorization group is included as a field value.
