Definition
Specifies the net packing quantity for a delivery or schedule line, in base unit of measure.
The net packing quantity for a schedule line is calculated as follows:
- Net packing quantity = gross packing quantity - cumulated HU quantity
The net packing quantity for a delivery is calculated as follows:
- Net packing quantity = gross packing quantity - cumulated HU quantity (handling units that are already contained in the delivery are not taken into account).
Examples
If the net packing quantity is greater than zero, there is still packing required (all has not yet been packed).
If the net packing quantity is less than zero, too much has been packed.
