Definition
Specifies whether the user starts the packing process by entering a quantity of materials or simply by specifying the material to be packed.
Procedure
Select which of the two packing modes is to be used in this packing transaction.
Either:
- Pack specified material quantity
The user enters a quantity of materials. The system proposes one or more handling units for this quantity.
or
- Propose handling unit for material (no quantity entry)
The user does not enter a quantity, only a material and a plant (plus additional criteria if required.) The system displays the appropriate handling unit proposal, along with the quantities of materials that it contains. The user can then modify the quantity of handling units as required.
