Definition

Specifies that the system automatically expands the main packing instruction each time that

• data is entered for the first time (material, quantity, storage location)
• data is changed

or

• data is refreshed on saving/creating handling units.

Procedure

If you flag this indicator, the system expands the packing instruction automatically.

If you leave the indicator blank, the system does not expand the packing instruction until the user chooses the appropriate pushbutton.

Examples

The quantity to be packed is 1000 pieces, but HU proposals and HUs are created for just 700 pieces.

If this indicator is flagged, the system subsequently expands the packing instruction for the remaining 300 pieces automatically.
