Definition

Defines the source of the field.

The data for price lists can come from the following sources:

  • Customers
  • Materials
  • Pricing result
  • BAdI

Use

  • If you want the system to fill the field from the data base tables of the SAP business partner (that is, customer master data such as tables KNVV, KNA1, or related tables), choose customers as the source of the field.
  • If you want the system to fill the field from the data base tables of the material master data (that is, tables MVKE, MARA, or related tables), choose materials as the source of the field.
  • If you want the system to fill the field from the pricing result structure, choose the pricing result as the source of the field.
  • If you do not want the system to fill the field by standard logic, but rather by using a method of BAdI: Price List Processing, choose BAdI. The system only renders the field into the output structure. The system does not fill the field with a value.
