Definition
This is the annual amount as determined by the Revenue Commission, up until which, tax should be deducted at the standard rate.
In each pay period an employee pays tax at the standard rate of tax up to the standard rate cut-off point. Any taxable pay in a pay period over the cut-off point is taxed at the higher rate.
