Material number used by business partners during handover (takeover in your system).

Use

Although there may be a material change ('material upgrade') in your system, the material number the business partner used during the last handover contains the information about how the business partner identified the material when performing handover. This information is sent back at last with handover to the business partner to help identify the material.

Business Partner named Material 'A1'.

In the own system this material is named 'OUR1'.

Then a material change to 'OUR2' is performed.

The recent material number is 'A1'.
