Documentation
Definition
In this field you specify the time unit for the payroll period.
Standard units are monthly, weekly, and every four weeks.
Supplementary Documentation - PFREQ 0001
Use
Dependencies
Unlike the period parameter, the time unit is the same for all countries. You can assign different period parameters to a time unit. In addition to the periodicity the period parameter also contains the validity start of the payroll periods.
Example
You define the period parameter 20 (weekly) and select the weekly time unit. You specify the 1st of July 2000 as the start of validity. The time unit then abstractly defines the payroll period as a week. The period parameter defines that every payroll period should be a week in your system and that the first payroll period should start on the 1st of July.
Supplementary Documentation - PFREQ 0002
Use
You define the duration of a cumulation interval using the payroll time unit.
