This counter shows the position of the profile in the profile sequence for the ALE system you selected.

This only applies to object types material and material BOM, because these are the only object types for which you can define several profiles.

When you define the sequence of profiles for an ALE system, each profile can only be followed by a profile that restricts the field selection. This restriction ensures that it is not possible to assign an authorization to change more fields in the same ALE system for a subsequent status.
