Definition
The employee group is an organizational entity which is governed by specific personnel regulations. An employee group is divided into several employee subgroups.

Use
The Employee group field allows you to differentiate between different groups of employees, for example, active workforce, pensioners, and so on, through a 1-digit code.
Procedure
In CREATE mode, use this field to link a position with an employee group. To do so either:
- type in the appropriate 1-digit code, or
- retrieve a list of person group codes and make a selection by either:
. pressing F4, or
. clicking on the down arrow
In CHANGE mode, enter a different code using the methods outlined above.
