Definition
This is the maximum amount of interest penalties for a given company code and in the company code currency. If the penalties due exceed this amount, you need pay only this maxiumum amount.
For example, if you enter $1000 as the maximum penalty amount for your company code and you pay the invoice late so that an interest penalty of $1200 is calculated, a penalty of $1000 is payable.
If you have a company code in customizing, it is essential to enter a value for the maximum amount even if you do not expect to need it. You may choose any large number as the maximum amount in this case.
