Definition

The key date is the date on which the manually entered reduction amount Sec. 57 and the manually entered capital amount Sec. 58 are valid.

Possible entries are the start date of the infotype record or the previous day.

Use

This date is important if there is a payment increase on the start date of the record. In this case, there is a difference regarding the adjustment of the reduction amount, provided that the "Reduction Suspended" checkbox is not selected. If the start date is entered as the key date, the amount entered manually is not adjusted dynamically on the start date. If the previous day is entered as the key date, the dynamic adjustment is carried out on the start date of the record, which means that the amount valid prior to the payment adjustment applies. The entered key date, therefore, depends on whether the manual reduction amount has already been adapted to the payment increase or not.
