Definition

This field contains the calculation type of the severance pay process. You use the Calculation Type selection list to specify whether this is an initial calculation or a retroactive calculation.

Use

For the first processing of a change of employer, always select the Initial Calculation calculation type.

For a retroactive calculation of an initial calculation (or of another retroactive calculation), select the Retroactive Calculation calculation type.

Selecting the Retroactive Calculation calculation type requires an entry in the Reference to Process field.
