Documentation
Supplementary Documentation - PCON_PNODE0001
Use
When you assign a PVS node to an activity, you state that the components represented by that PVS node are to be installed in that activity.
Dependencies
If all the variants of the PVS node are to be installed in this activity, you enter only the PVS node.
If only some of the variants of the PVS node are to be installed in this activity, you must enter these variants in addition to the PVS node in the Variant field.
You can also assign production resources/tools to an activity. However, you can do so only if you have maintained PVS nodes for the production resources/tools.
Example
Supplementary Documentation - PCON_PNODE0002
Use
- In the BOM field, you can enter the access node or a structure node from the product structure for which you wish to display the BOM data. If you use a production version to access the display, the product structure is taken automatically from the iPPE access object for that production version.
- In the Routing field, you can enter a routing header or a grouping node from the process structure for which you wish to display the routing data. If you use a production version to enter the display, the process structure is taken automatically from the iPPE access object for that production version.

Example
Supplementary Documentation - PCON_PNODE0003
Use
The primary resource is the iPPE object production resource. You must enter a production resource in order to enter the duration. When the production resource is a worker and indicated as relevant for capacity planning, it also forms the basis for the connection to Product Cost Planning and Labor Ressource Planning in the SAP APO.
Dependencies
In the mode, you can enter more production resources as secondary resources. However, these are not considered for capacity planning in the SAP APO. This allows you, for instance, to assign production resources/tools as secondary resources.
When iPPE data is transferred to the SAP APO, the system generates APO resources for the production resources in the SAP APO.
Example
Supplementary Documentation - PCON_PNODE0004
Use
You can enter a production resource that is not intended for capacity planning in the SAP APO, for instance, a production resource or tool.
