Definition
Percentage additional voluntary contribution.
The additional percentage amount which will be paid by the employee into a pension scheme.

Use
This is used when an employee in your company wishes to make an additional contribution into his or her pension scheme. This may be on a regular or ad hoc basis and may be a percentage rate irrespective of the type of pension scheme the employee pays into regularly.
Dependencies
If an employee makes ad hoc additional voluntary contributions, the validity dates of the record must be set for the relevant periods.
Procedure
Enter the percentage amount which the employee wishes to pay.
Examples
The percentage additional voluntary contribution has been defined as 10%.
The employee earns a monthly gross salary of £1000.
On top of the employee's regular payments into a chosen pension scheme, £100.00 will also be deducted from his or her monthly gross salary:
(1000 x 0.1) = 100.00
