Definition
You can limit the selection to a certain group of persons (set of personnel numbers known as the reporting set) by choosing a selection method. The system only takes account of the personnel numbers in the reporting set during further processing.
Use
Select the selection method that you want to use to limit the reporting set from the list box. If you first want to obtain an overview of the range of reporting sets (that is the number of personnel numbers found), you can execute the selection method explicitly by clicking the pushbutton beside it. Otherwise, the selection method is executed implicitly when output starts.
Dependencies
Selection methods are defined by system administration in the Define Selection IDs Customizing activity and included using the Report Category Maintenance.
