Definition
When registering with the Workers' Compensation Board, the employer is assigned a WCB account. This account identifies the employer. Depending on the province, it can contain several classification codes. The employer can hold multiple accounts.
Reporting is broken down by account and classification code. Remittance only takes place on a WCB account level.
