Documentation
Definition
This field contains the percentage of the accrual base - that is, the amount contained in wage type /1VE (Vacationable earnings) and its customer-specific equivalents - that will be accrued as vacation pay in accordance with company policy for the current employee grouping.
For example, if company policy requires that 8% of vacationable earnings be paid to employees in the current employee grouping, then enter 8.000 in this field. If the accrual base for the current employee grouping is equal to $50,000, then the balance of vacation pay determined by company policy will equal $4,000.
If this balance exceeds the amount of vacation pay required by law, then it will be paid out whenever a permissible special event occurs (e.g. payout at end of vacation year).
