Definition
In this field, you define the formula to be applied to the accrual of vacation pay for employees in the current employee grouping. Depending upon the value defined in this field, vacation pay for these employees will accrue in one of the following four ways.
Value - Result
(none) - Flat amount of vacation pay accrues in an arbitrary wage type.
1 - The year-to-date vacationable earnings that have accrued during the current accrual year are multiplied either by the percentage defined by company policy (if one exists), or by the minimum percentage required by provincial/Federal law.
2 - The vacationable earnings that have accrued during the current period are multiplied either by the percentage defined by company policy (if one exists), or by the minimum percentage required by provincial/Federal law.
A - The year-to-date vacationable days that have accrued during the current accrual year are multiplied by the valuation base.
