Begin date of infotype record to be updated.

Use

The date on which the infotype record will be updated.

Dependencies

Under certain circumstances, this date may be different from the effective date.

In the case that a specific infotype does not allow for retrospective changes, such as the infotype Tax Data GB (0065), the begin date will be set to the earliest possible date when an update would be possible.

Example

Payroll has been run until 30 June 2003. A P6 form is issued with an effective date of the 15 June 2003. Since infotype 0065 may not be retrospectively changed, the begin date is set to the 1 July 2003.
