Number of employment years for statutory severance pay
Use
The number of employment years for statutory severance pay is the basis for calculating the severance pay amount. Statutory severance pay for an uninterrupted work relationship is as follows:
3 years 2 monthly salaries
5 years 3 monthly salaries
10 years 4 monthly salaries
15 years 6 monthly salaries
20 years 9 monthly salaries
25 years 12 monthly salaries
When you create a record for the Payment Upon Leaving (0527) infotype, the number of years the employee has worked at your company during the last work relationship is proposed by the system in this field.
The number of years the employee has worked at a previous employer are not included in the proposed values. You should therefore check the proposed value.
