Definition
If the indicator is set, each of the absence symbols that are sought are treated as independent units. The report behaves in this manner if you use it individually for each absence symbol.
If the indicator is not set, and the absence symbols appear in immediate succession, the report treats these absence symbols as one specification and produces a record for only the initial appearance of one of the sought absence symbols. All other sought absence symbols that immediately follow the inital absence symbol are not taken into consideration.
