Definition

There are several off-cycle reason types:

• Off-cycle run for bonus accounting
• Off-cycle run for correction accounting
• Off-cycle run for payment of an absence
• Advance payments for an absence for regular periods

If this flag is set, the off-cycle reason can be used for payment of an absence. The payroll periods are generated using the 'Close gaps' principle, in other words, using retroactive accounting. If you need to run payroll for several periods, only the last period (chronologically) is the original period. All other periods are retroactive accounting periods.
Only one check or bank transfer is generated for this payroll run.
