Definition

In this field, you define how the business partner's password is determined for the Internet user and how the user receives the access data. The following settings are possible.

• BP chooses password: If you choose this setting, the Password field is a required field and the user must make an entry. In this case, the customer already knows their password, so that there is no need to send it and it can be displayed on the confirmation screen if desired.
• System generates password / access data is displayed: The system generates a password for the business partner's Internet user and displays it on the confirmation screen.
• System generates password / access data is sent: The system generates a password for the business partner's Internet user and sends it to him via e-mail.
