Definition
This parameter enables you to determine whether a detailed log is created.
Usually, there is little point in creating a detailed log because the system always displays important messages, errors, and statuses.
The log is very detailed, which means that extremely large datasets are created in a live archiving session. The archiving session could be cancelled as a result.
The logs are usually output via the archiving class. In individual cases, they can help SAP to localize an error more precisely.
