Definition
This parameter allows you to determine whether or not the data relevant to a declaration to the authorities is to be temporarily stored in a worklist. The worklist later serves as the basis for the creation of the actual declaration to the authorities.
Furthermore, you determine which logs of this data selection are to be created and outputted on the screen or printer.
Use
The letters 'A', 'B' and 'C' stand for so-called update runs, i.e. the selected data is updated in the relevant worklist. If you wish to create a declaration to the authorities, it is essential that data selection has previously taken place on the basis of the aforementioned letters.
The values 'D', 'E' and 'F', on the other hand, mean that merely a test run will be carried out, i.e. the worklist will not be changed by this data selection. An advantage of the test run is the faster runtime for example. Furthermore, declaration data which may not yet be in accordance with official requirements or is perhaps incomplete is not updated.
The above letters 'A' to 'F' also determine which logs are to be written. The following logs are possible:
- Selection log: overview of all documents (purchase orders from Purchasing or billing documents from Sales and Distribution) that satisfy the selection criteria
and/or - Incompleteness log: overview of all documents for which necessary information is missing. This may include a missing procedure code, a missing mode of transport, etc. The criteria for an incompleteness check can be defined in Customizing.
