Documentation
Definition
The personnel number uniquely identifies employees and is used to display and maintain infotypes.
The personnel number is the highest ranking key of an infotype structure within a client.
Procedure
Enter the range of personnel numbers to be evaluated. You can evaluate the following:
- Individual personnel number
Enter a personnel number in the first entry field.
- Range of personnel numbers
Enter the lowest and highest number in the first and second entry fields respectively.
- All personnel numbers up to a highest number
Enter the highest number in the second entry field.
- All personnel numbers
Do not make any entries in the Personnel number field.
- Value set of personnel numbers
If you want to define a value set, select multiple selection. A dialogue box appears in which you can enter individual personnel numbers or a range of personnel numbers.
Please note, a personnel number which is defined more than once in the value set is selected only once.
Dependencies
When you make entries in the field Personnel number and in addition select personnel numbers in multilple selection performance can be impaired. Therefore when defining intervals you should restrict them as much as possible in the field Personnel number.

Use
This field contains the personnel number selection of the target report variant.
Procedure
If required, change the personnel number selection of the target variant.
If you want to restore the original personnel number selection of the target variant, select 'Refresh'.

Definition
If available, enter the personnel number of the active holder.
