In this field, enter a valid payroll accounting period from table T549Q.

Procedure

Entry options for the payroll area, payroll period and payroll year fields are:

  • Payroll area without period and year
    If you make no entry in these fields, the system reads the payroll area from the respective control record and the payroll period from table T549Q, and uses these values as the data and person selection period.
  • Payroll area with period and year
    If you make no entries in these fields, the system reads the payroll area, payroll period and payroll year from table T549Q and uses these values as the data and person selection period.

Dependencies

The value you enter must be in table T549A.

Use

The following options are available for the "Payroll area", "Payroll period", and "Payroll year" fields:

  • 1. Payroll area without period and year:
    The payroll area is used to determine the last payroll period from the control record. The control record is read from table T569V. The last payroll period is used to determine the exact period from table T549Q. This is then set as the data and person selection period if these fields contain no entries.
  • 2. Payroll area with period and year:
    The payroll area, period and year are used to determine the exact period from table T549Q. This period is then used as the data and selection period if these fields contain no entries. The number of the period to be accounted.

If no entry is made in this field, the period is determined from the data selection period or payroll area entered in the time period determinator field.
