In this field, enter the date that the car model was introduced.
In the case that the CO2 value is stored on the car database (view cluster VC_T5GC1), then regard this begin date as the date when the CO2 value was first used for this car model. This information is available on the web site http://www.smmt.co.uk/co2/co2search.asp (issued by the Motor Industry SMMT). Alternatively, you can enter the vehicle registration date. However, we do not recommend you using this date, as it is less accurate.
