Unique identifier for a posting run
Use
If you enter the run number of a posting run that has already been completed with one of the following statuses, you trigger a repeat run (or supplement run):
- Documents incorrect
- Documents created
- No documents created
This repeat run (or supplement run) has the following meaning:
Error Clean-Up for Incorrectly Processed Personnel Numbers
When the program is started, these incorrect personnel numbers are automatically processed by the system again and the posting documents are recreated until all of the original personnel numbers selected for this posting run are processed without errors.
In this case, you cannot specify an explicit selection of personnel numbers on the selection screen of the report. Otherwise the program aborts with an error message.
Supplemental Run
When all selected personnel numbers for this run number have been
processed without errors, you can supplement the posting documents with the posting data for personnel numbers by explicitly selecting the personnel numbers on the selection screen.
In this case, the selection must not contain any personnel numbers that have already been processed for this run number. Otherwise the program aborts and an appropriate error message is issued.
Only New Creation of Documents
In each of the two cases mentioned previously, the document is created again, based on the total aggregated posting data. However, you can only allow new documents to be created if there are no incorrect personnel numbers and you do not want to add any other personnel numbers to the run number if it is not an error clean-up of personnel numbers or a supplement run.
