Documentation
Definition
Payroll is generally run at different times for different personnel areas and employee subgroups. These groupings can be combined to payroll accounting areas. All employees for whom payroll is run on the same date should be grouped together in one payroll area irrespective of their status (salaried employee, industrial worker).
The program which provides the data for payroll accounting selects the datasets on the basis of the payroll areas. When you enter a payroll area, only those employees who, according to their organizational assignment, belong to this particular area, are selected.
Dependencies
If you have defined a person selection period, all personnel numbers that have been assigned to the organizational unit defined in this and other fields on at least one day during this time period will be selected. An OR link exists within a line, an AND link between lines.
