Definition

Generates an Employee Pre-Validation File (EPF) that can be transferred to the social security system (SSS) through an EDINet service provider.

Use

Employers must submitt an Employee Pre-Validation File to the SSS prior to submitting a Monthly Contribution List (MCL). The file enables the SSS to validate the following employee data:

• Employee names
• SSS numbers
• Birth dates
