Definition
This indicator should be set when an employer has issued a P45 form to an employee on leaving.
Use
This field is not used merely for recording purposes, but is also required by other functions, such as the Tax Code Uplift batch input program.

This field is used in the Tax Code Uplift batch input program, for example. If you select the Process leavers' details option when running the batch input program, it is able to determine on the basis of the P45 been issued indicator whether any of the employees concerned are leavers.
