Documentation
Definition
Enter the employee specific comments, if any in the Text field.
Some Forms and Appendix generated by a report have a section wherein you can enter employee specific comments. For example, the Appendix 8B of the Form IR8A has a Remarks section against which you can, if required, enter a comment.
A report while generating the required Forms and Appendix will check the Text field of the Additional Information (Singapore) Infotype (741). If there is an entry in this field, the report will display the same against the relevant employee specific comments section.
For example, you have
- Selected an employee record in the Additional Information (Singapore), and IR8A Subtype (0001).
- Selected 8A-STOCKS/GAINS in the Txt ID column
- Entered an employee specific comment in the Text field.
When you execute the Singapore Income Tax IR8A Report (RPCT8AR0), the Appendix 8B, in the Remarks section will display the employee specific comment.
Note
The number of characters that you can enter in the Text field is restricted to 130. You can however, use the Addn. Text option to enter more text. The total number of characters that you can enter between the Text and the Addn.Text options is 200.
The system automatically truncates all text exceeding the 200 character limit.
