Definition
Companies grant stocks to their employees against a stock option scheme. These schemes are internal to an organization. You must specify the Stock Option Plans that are applicable in your company.
The SAP System by default, provides the following Stock Option Plans:
- EPA1 - ESOP Stock - Section A (Employee)
- EPB1 - ESOP Stock - Section B (SMEs)
- EPC1 - ESOP Stock - Section C (All Corps)
- EPD1 - ESOP Stock - Section D (All Corps)
These plans are assigned to the default Stock Option Scheme, CSOP, ESOP and EESOP respectively.
You can change the default Stock Option Plans and create customized Stock Option Plans. You must assign the customized Stock Option Plans to the relevant Stock Option Schemes.
If there are no specific Stock Option Plans in your company, you can use one of the default Stock Option Plans, or create a dummy Stock Option Plan. You must assign this dummy Stock Option Plan to a Stock Option Scheme applicable in your company.
For more information refer to the IMG activity Assign Stock Option Plan to a Stock Option Scheme.
