Definition
Accounted Year is the year in which the employee is taxed for the stocks exercised by the employee. Tax is applicable only in the year in which the employee realizes the stocks, at the end of a Holding Period.
When executed, the Singapore Income Tax IR8A Report (RPCT8AR0) updates the Accounted Year field in the Stock Option Infotype (Singapore) Infotype (0739).
The Accounted Year is a Display Only field, and cannot be changed. Under certain conditions however, you can change other information in the record such as the Exercise Date, and the Holding Period.
