This data element defines the numerator (or upper) value of the constant used in the computation of retirement benefits for the various scheme types and payment option types.
For example, for the scheme type of Pensionable Officer and the payment option type of Full Annual Pension, the constant required is 1/600. The numerator value of 1 is captured by this data element.
