Definition
As part of the year-end closing activities for payroll, PBS makes a copy of the so-called 'Company master'. From the time that the copy was made, you can (if required) suppress changes in payroll data from the old year in runs for the new year.
You can then compensate these changes with a special payroll run with off-cycle category '1' (year end run after last regular payroll run) or with the first payroll run of the new year after completing the year-end closing activities.
In this field, you enter the year-end closing activities. This means that all the payroll runs on or after this date are processed as usual - that means, all the changes are taken into consideration no matter which payroll year they originate from and are sent to the normal company master.
