Definition

As part of the year-end closing activities for payroll, PBS makes a copy of the so-called 'Company master'. From the time that the copy was made, you can (if required) suppress changes in payroll data for the old year in runs for the new year.

You can then compensate these changes with a special payroll run with off-cycle category '1' (year end run after last regular payroll run) or with the first payroll run of the new year after completing the year-end closing activities (the fields FDATE, FTIME).

Here, you can specify a time as well as the copy date, so that you can, if necessary, run payroll on the same day, once before the copy has been made and again after the copy has been made.
