Definition

If an active employee moves between two tax references in the middle of the tax year, the program produces a P45 form for the last tax reference change in the time frame that you specified in the Person selection period on the selection screen.

If you run the P45 program (RPCP45GN) in productive mode, it will create P45 forms and update the infotype Tax Data GB (0065):

  • The program updates the section Leaving details of the infotype Tax Data GB (0065) record with the issue date of the P45 form.
  • The program creates a new infotype Tax Data GB (0065) record, provided that
    • you did not create a new infotype Tax Data GB (0065) record on the tax reference change date, and
    • the new record would not have to start in the tax year following the one the P45 has been issued for

      The sytem sets the start date of the new infotype record to

    • the date of tax reference change, or
    • the day after the pay date of the last payment included in the P45 form

      whereby the latter date is taken only if the last pay date is later than the date of tax reference change.

  • The new infotype record will contain Starter's details as issued on the P45 form if the employee's tax code is cumulative. The section Leaving details will not contain a P45 issued date.
