Documentation
Definition
When a tax credit is not paid, you are required to record that a certificate of payments has been issued by the employer.
A tax credit normally runs for 26 weeks. During this period, an employer may issue a certificate for the tax credit (for example, due to an unpaid illness absence, strike). This will terminate the current tax credit and cause a new tax credit to be awarded by the Inland Revenue for a period of less than 26 weeks.
If a certificate of payments was issued, you must enter the date it was issued and reason.
