Documentation
Definition
This date is the latest possible start date for the Paternity Pay Period (birth or adoption). The start date of the Paternity Pay Period depends on when the employee stops work.
For Statutory Paternity Pay (birth), the latest date that an employee can begin the Paternity Pay Period is 49 days after the later of the expected date of birth or the actual date of birth of the child.
For Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption), the latest date that an employee can begin the Paternity Pay Period is 49 days after the placement date of the child.
The system therefore calculates the Paternity Pay Period to start, at the latest, on the dates entered in your SAP system for either the actual/expected date of birth of the child, or the placement date of the child, plus 49 days.
Use
Dependencies
You should enter, when appropriate, the date when the employee actually begins the Paternity Pay Period in the Actual start of PPP field.
