Definition

A balanced combination is one in which each of two subjects forms at least 40% of the overall programme of study.

If the combination is not balanced it's major/minor.

If there are more than two subjects, the combination is always considered balanced.

Example

  • A balanced combination of F1 Chemistry and G5 Computing Science would be represented by: FG15 Chemistry AND Computing Science
  • A major/minor combination of F1 chemistry and G5 Computing Science would be represented by: F1G5 Chemistry major/Computing Science minor
