Definition
By setting this checkbox, the program will delimit any absences that overlap the period selected.
In which case, the original absence start and end date are held in two new fields (OBEGD and OENDD) and the new dates are held in the standard date fields (BEGDA and ENDDA) and the derived fields that are specific to the start and end date of the absence are re-calculated, if the start or end date have been changed.

Example
Consider that an employee takes a leave of absence from 06/04/2010 to 06/04/2011.
When you run the Absence Data Overview (RPLABSG0_ABSENCE_OVERVIEW) report for the period 01/04/2010 to 30/04/2010, depending on your selection the absence data changes as follows:
Limit Absences field Start date End date
Selected 06/04/2010 30/04/2010
Deselected, 06/04/2010 06/04/2011
