Definition

This determines the calculation Method used to determine the free space for the work cost regulation.

The following methods exist:

  • Method 1: Based on the current wage sum calculated in the payroll run for the current period
  • Method 2: Estimated on basis of the wage sum of the previous year, divided by the number of Wage Return periods; Final Levy is calculated per period, if the free space is exceeded; Final settlement takes place at the end of the year
  • Method 3: Estimated on basis of the wage sum of the previous year, taken as a lump sum; Final Levy is calculated per period, if the free space is exceeded for the lump sum; Final settlement takes place at the end of the year

At the moment only Methods 1 and 3 are supported by SAP.
