Specification of the file path

Use

You can specify your file path or name in two different ways, depending on where the file is located or to be saved.

1. Locally on your hard drive: In this case, specify the file name directly. Note that you can also use the search function next to the input field.
2. In addition, you can also reference a file path on the application server. You can change the path of this file using transaction FILE.

In the standard system, the logical file path HR_AT_DATASETS references the directory /tmp/ (on UNIX) or the profile parameter DIR_TEMP (on WINDOWSNT).

You can also edit the rule for creating file names using transaction FILE. In the standard system, the file name (according to rule HR_AT_DATASET_KSJ) is structured as follows: <PARAM_1>RPCKSJA1_EXT_DATA
