Definition
Specification of the file path
Use
You can specify your file path or name in two different ways, depending on where the file is located or to be saved.
- Locally on your hard drive: In this case, specify the file name directly. Note that you can also use the search function next to the input field.
- In addition, you can also reference a file path on the application server. You can change the path of this file using transaction FILE.
In the standard system, the logical file path HR_AT_DATASETS references the directory /tmp/ (on UNIX) or the profile parameter DIR_TEMP (on WINDOWSNT).
You can also edit the rule for creating file names using transaction FILE. In the standard system, the file name (according to rule HR_AT_DATASET_KSJ) is structured as follows: <PARAM_1>RPCKSJA1_EXT_DATA
